A satellite alternative setting for long-term and 365 day suspended middle and high school students. New Horizons program is supported by the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, Durham Public Schools and Edgemont Community Center. Students participating in the New Horizons program continue to receive credit for their course work and are given the opportunity to advance to the next grade level. This program is presently located in the basement of Operation Breakthrough. For further information, please call New Horizons at (919) 530-5808, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
